"Vanwege ontkerkelijking laten veel protestantse geloofsgemeenschappen hun kerkgebouwen los, maar in sommige gevallen blijven zij na overdracht van het eigenaarschap (een deel van) het kerkgebouw gebruiken voor hun erediensten. De aanwezigheid van andere gebruikers heeft gevolgen voor de beleving van de geloofsgemeenschap. Eigenaar en geloofsgemeenschap verhouden zich ieder op een andere manier tot de ruimte en de tijd van het kerkgebouw. Bovendien verandert het aanzien van het kerkgebouw: de historische (katholieke) en civiele geschiedenis worden zichtbaar. Er vormen zich ook nieuwe gemeenschappen. Dit boek laat zien dat meervoudig gebruik voor de eigenaren en de gebruikers een ingewikkelde opgave is. Naast soms creatieve vormen van samenwerking doen zich geregeld conflicten voor. De visies van de diverse gebruikers over een passende omgang met het kerkgebouw, blijken sterk te kunnen verschillen. De gebruiksgeschiedenis van de betreffende geloofsgemeenschap en de gekozen juridische structuur bepalen voor een groot deel hoe het meervoudig gebruik er in elke specifieke situatie uitziet."

The "Schweizerische Kirchenzeitung" (SKZ), founded in 1832 by priests, lay people and by the publisher Räber in Lucerne as a private journal, is since 1900 Theology journal and the Official Journal of the diocese of Basel and since 1967 or 1970 also of the dioceses Chur and St. Gallen and of the German-speaking parts of the dioceses of Lausanne-Geneva-Freiburg and Sitten. Since 2003, is included the "Kipa-Woche" and since 2015 "kath.ch 7 Tage" as an integral part of the SKZ.

The edition of the 57 letters in the existing fragment of the third volume of Pope Innocent III's chancery registers, covering the period from September 1200 to February 1201, closes the gap that had existed for a long time in the edition of chancery registers of one of the most important medieval popes, published by the Osterreichisches Historisches Institut in Rome and the Institut fur Osterreichische Geschichtsforschung in Vienna. This replaces the deficient text of the Patrologia Latina edited by Migne with a critical edition that meets all scholarly requirements and follows the pattern of the 14 volumes of the existing register edition. In addition to the careful edition of the text according to the original manuscript in the Archivio Apostolico Vaticano (Reg. Vat. 5), a detailed critical apparatus with German summaries, previous prints, identification of places and persons and the historical background, references to Canon and Roman law, identification of the biblical quotations occurring in the text and other textual models serves this purpose. The letters were sent throughout the entire Christian world of the time, from Scandinavia to Southern Italy, from Ireland to the Byzantine Empire. The announced forthcoming second part will contain the reconstruction of the missing part of the register covering the third year of Innocent' s pontificate.
